Short Yojimbo 2 Version????

Hello,
I just picked up a Yojimbo 2. I love this knife!
I do have a few questions about it. I know MJ likes shorter blades and this blade appears to 3/8” shorter than normal.
The cutting edge is 2 3/8” longer.
Does anyone have any insight into this blade?

Used.
Over the guy I got it from “It’s one that he had modified that I bought in Virginia Beach‘
He being MJ.
This doesn’t look like a fake but it sure looks like factory finishing on the blade.

Sell it to me if you balk, that is exactly the Yo2 I am hoping gets built and a lock back would be even better

TBD, thank you for that huge bit of info.
I agree it needs to be built, this is my first endeavor into compression locks, I agree a lock back would be nice as well.
