Sprint Endura like the Sage green G10 sprint but with G10/CF peel ply (like a Bradley Folder) and AEB-L Steel. Would make my end all EDC and shouldn't be too expensive to produce.

Yes, please! The original Golden Made model with an interesting "tough" steel. 52100/PPCF, M4/Jade, Cruwear, 3V, 4V or maybe introduce the PD-1 from the recent mule.zeroed4x wrote:Starmate

Yeah, GB1 with G10 would be great, or Peel Ply CF. Maybe Peel Ply CF with 52100. 3V or 4V would be interesting in this mod as well paired with some nice G10.Johnnie1801 wrote:Gayle Bradley 1 with g10 scales and k390

G10 Rookie - thinner blade stock/enlarged thumb hole/K390
Re: If you could pick one discontinued knife to turn into a sprint..
Chinook 1 with a fat Pivot, Torx screws and brass bushings. If re-use of s60v is not possible, how about s35vn instead :)
Re: If you could pick one discontinued knife to turn into a sprint..
Isn't the Tuff popular because of the 3V? Honestly.
I remember really saying "wow that's awesome I want it" but I couldn't pull the trigger. I really can't now. Aftermarket is really gouging.
I'd like to see a 3V Chinook 1, or 3V Shaman.

Well Brother "jtoler_9" you're most definitely not alone. I've been contemplating what would make a Sprint Run of the TEMPERANCE 1 fixed blade model most attractive to many of the Spyder-Brethren who are latecomers to Spyderville and unfortunately have never gotten the chance to seriously test drive this most versatile, super ergonomic Spyderco fixed blade i.e. the TEMP 1 model :cool:jtoler_9 wrote:Yay! I’m not alone anymore. I have always loved the Temp 1JD Spydo wrote:I knew that there were other Brethren besides me that had fallen in love with the TEMPERANCE 1 model  That blade design with a supersteel would just be outright awesome IMO.jtoler_9 wrote:Original Temperance 1 with either 3v, hap40 or Cruwear. I would prefer one of each.
I would also like to see anything in burnt orange G10
But don't overlook the value of the TEMP 1 in PE & SE both>> it is an awesome fixed blade>> Spyderco truly got it right the first time
My latest brainstorm on the TEMP 1 for an ideal, affordable outdoor model is to make the Spyderedged version in H-1 and to make the plain edged in LC200N. This would not only spice up the Salt Series but it would truly give new life to a model that should have never been shelved or mothballed to begin with.
The TEMP 1 even after all these years ( since 2004) has been my "go-to" Spyderco fixed blade and I don't see it being replaced anytime soon. The TEMP 1 is a super-classic Spyder and must return at some point. If only you guys could test drive one of them.
Re: If you could pick one discontinued knife to turn into a sprint..
I placed my vote on page 1... and after six pages there are only a small handful of repeats. It's a good thing the inmates don't run this asylum, or Spyderco would never reach consensus and release anything
Knife design aside, I don't think I realized how intensely personal steel choice and scale color can be. I know we all have different needs... but WOW do we all have different needs.
and wants.

Bradley Air with cf and M390
Re: If you could pick one discontinued knife to turn into a sprint..
I'd rather see the Air in something like Maxamet. I think a super hard steel suits the design (and my uses for it) better.

Slysz bowie in k390

How about a One-Eyed Jack in more economical trim? I like the clean lines of that model, but I don’t like the pricing I’m seeing.
I sure love the para3, but it and anything bigger, even the full serrated Salt 2, are pushing it for an office environment. Unfortunately that’s where I spend most of my time these days. I could see 2 versions, both with no bolsters and with deep carry pocket clips, and any lock mech really. Backlock would be fine.
1. A no-frills version in VG10 and FRN
2. A dressed-up version in M4 with smooth G10, maybe a variety of colors, maybe CF
Price-points comparable to the delica or BHQ jade M4 para3, respectively, seems like a winner.
