I'm not familiar with micarta, is it worth the difference for the 3d handle and will the micarta handle water saturation?

I should clarify, I'm looking at handles from halpern. I'm not looking to craft my own just yet.

I have G10 Halperns and I'm very pleased with them, great shape, very comfortable. Micarta will have no problem withwater.

I've recently decided that 3d handles work much better for me, and I'll go with 3d handles whenever possible from here on out. They just fit my hand that much better.

I've bought sheaths (and handles) off eBay with good results. Ebay seller Nimfa has always delivered good fit for me (both sheaths and handle scales), and I've bought some sheaths from ebay seller AZwelke that have worked as well.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about ebay as the quality can be hit and miss. I appreciate you naming some sellers you trust.
