This is truly a fantastic EDC blade. If you are on the fence about getting one I would pull the trigger while you still can to avoid secondary market inflation. I’m very impressed with the model and the steel.

Your priorities are all wrong! First comes fondling, then comes sleep and finally work. :p

I know, i know, what kinda half *** Spyderholic am I? Seriously, I got a load of goodies all waiting to be unboxed, but I pulled the Caly from the plastic yesterday, checked the grinds, action and lamination line symmetry then smiled and returned it to the wrapper..... for now.

Mine won't be saved. I'll be using it often. Probably choose something else for outdoor work, lol

I'm getting more impressed by this blade the more I carry it. I took the blade out again, cleaned it, lubed it. Took it over fine and ultra fine rods and it's a bloody scalpel. The ergos are completely spot on and the size plus the leafshape compliment it all. I'm glad I got 2. Godforbid I lose one I'd sorely miss it. I usually carry a pm2 for the hard game stuff but this thing is phenomenal. Blows all my smaller knives out of the water.

Mine arrived today, and, boy howdy, are these nice. VERY impressive fit and finish. This is my first HAP40 blade, and I am looking forward to "wringing it out." This may be my last Spyderco for a spell what with the MAP policy change...part of their CQI program no doubt. :p I'll "hunt and peck" and look for close-outs, eventually I'll find something not too pricey so I can add another Spyderco to my rotation. For a good spell, however, this Sprint Caly 3 is going to give me plenty of impessive service.
