Looks like the liners have to be modified...can I see a clear shot of how it looks in that area/the bottom of the grip? Can you see any liner exposed or does the scale cover it still?BOOMER52 wrote:I modified a Spyderco Endura to resemble the Military model...
Excellent work. I am super impressed!BOOMER52 wrote:The stainless liners require a small amount of grinding at the nose to allow them to nest within this new modified profile.
That is squared away! Liking the lines.z4vdBt wrote:Josh's pic (Razor Edge Knives).z4vdBt wrote:This is the plan. Will post after pic when it comes back.
Outstanding work as always Steve. I need to commission some more scales.BOOMER52 wrote:I tried out 'Militura' as a name for this MOD... but it didn't stick. I've slipped back into referring to it as Endura/Military.
Here are some pics of one that's mostly but not quite all OD green... frag blast texture... w/matching Delica/Lil'para...

I like that mod.remnar wrote:Inspired by EvilD and others but not quite as extreme as some: I finally decided to expose my Yo-hole and I'm glad that I did.
It actually looks better in person but you can see that I also softened the sharp edges on the scales with some 500 grit sandpaper. I could have spent more time to make it look a little better but I'm impatient and the changes accomplished what I wanted. The hole is much easier to access and the knife feels more comfortable.
