Difficult decision, even with my selective purchasing.

1. UK Penknife CPM S110V - ergonomics, simplicity, super steel, improvements over previous design, and completely surprising how much I like it

2. Police 4 K390 - probably would have been my top choice if it was FRN (I'll save that for next year ;))

3. Military and Para Military Left Hand
Matt

C07 Police 4 | FRN K390
C41 Native 5 | Never Summer/NFFF
C94 UK Penknife | BD1N

For me it's the fluted carbon fiber Native, with the pakkawood delica as the runner-up.

1 - Shaman (which I consider a new design, although it is based on the Native 5)
2 - Manix 2 Backlock (second to the Shaman only because it's a variant of an existing design)
3 - Darn Dao (exceptional, but won't be as easily used or widely sold as the two others).

Happy New Year to everyone.

Tough call, but I think I’ll go with the Shaman. I’ve been waiting on this model for several years, so it’s exciting to see it finally come to fruition.

These are all impressive:
Fluted CF Native5 (the only one I have listed here that I haven't acquired yet)
Caly3 HAP40
Police4 K390
M4 Military
Pakkawood Delica

But this is the knife that has wowed me the most this year:
Military CF/TI S90V

For me, it’s the CF cruwear Manix. It was my first blade in cruwear, which I really like and the execution is just flawless. One of my overall favorites.

The cruwear para3 was an unexpected, pleasant surprise. I also really enjoy the pakkawood Delica/Endura and the M4 Military and Sliverax have also had a lot of pocket time this year.

A solid choice. And such an attractive knife. The fixed blades just don’t get the love like the folders do.
