Box from Spyderco

#1

Post by Volfan4u »

I know this sounds crazy but I wonder if it's possible to get boxes for knives from Spyderco? I just received one as a gift but no box.... I collect the boxes as well and I'm pretty anal about having them... lol...

What knife is it for?
:bug-red-white I collect them all, and use them all! I use the excuse, "I'm trying to find the perfect one", but in reality, they are all perfect in their own way!

I do not believe that Spyderco sells boxes but I have seen them for sale on EBay. It seems crazy to me but hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure. ;)

What box are you looking for or do you just want a random box? I have extras and they have no value to me unless the knife is still brand new which is only a couple of them.

I also keep and collect the boxes and would love to be able to get ones for the few that I don't have boxes for. I doubt spyderco will sell me them though.

They might be willing to send you a box, but it would not have a label on it. Only way to know for sure is to email customer service, or call them next week during regular business hours.

I think you should let this go simply because eventually you will get a model that doesn’t have a box. I have at least 3 (one eyed jack, memory, foundry) that came in pouches and no box exists to save.

I hear the darn dao comes in a pouch, and that must be a big pouch!

I have that knife and I looked for the box and didn't find it. I have a lot of stuff still boxed up from a move a while back so I have a few more places to look. I'll let you know if I find it. I think when I moved I only kept boxes that had knives in them and tossed any empty boxes and since that knife is a user I may have tossed the box.
