Military Discount

#1

Post by retsailor1969 »

Hi folks. I'm relatively new to the forum, haven't posted much at all. With that being said, I came across this military verification site called Sheerid.com. If you go to this link: https://www.sheerid.com/learn-more-abou ... ification/ click on clients/client deals. You'll see a whole list of offers. To the left you can narrow it down to the discount type you want, such as military, first responders etc. I haven't looked in anything but the military. What I know is that Spyderco offers the best discount for active duty and veterans I've ever seen. 50% off any Spyderco knife. You just cannot beat that! If you know about this already, admins please feel free to delete this thread. If not, follow the link as stated above. As long as you can verify military service, you'll gain access to the discount. I own only one knife, a Delica, but I have every intention of owning many more. Hope this helps you all out. Have a great day and Happy Holidays!

Go to the link provided above. Follow the directions and you cannot go wrong. Here's a picture that shows the discount being applied for an Endura 4.

These examples do not reveal the seller. Sellers matter in these days of clones and counterfeits. Would you happen to know your seller?

The seller is the sypderco website. Seriously, if you follow the directions in my original post, you'll see. I have logged on www.spyderco.com after verifying my military service. The discount is applied automatically.

Thanks for the clarification, and the link. I went there but, as a precaution, didn't drill down too deep.

Misunderstood what you said to do. I'm now qualified for the discount. Thanks again. And thank you, Spyderco.

I hope other veterans here seize this opportunity.

You're most welcome. I'm glad you kept with it :) I can't imagine any veteran or first responder who loves Spyderco not wanting to use their most generous discount. If you can verify your service, you will get the discount. It's pretty much that simple. Happy shopping everyone!

Thanks! I remember hearing about a discount, but somehow it slipped my brain. 50% off MSRP will definitely be the way for us veterans to beat the new MAP increase. :D

OP, that 50% looks to be off msrp. It's a nice gesture from Spyderco, but that's not that great of a deal when you throw in the shipping.

Well, something is better then nothing, I think it's pretty cool regardless of them to do it :)

Free over 150
:bug-red-white I collect them all, and use them all! I use the excuse, "I'm trying to find the perfect one", but in reality, they are all perfect in their own way!

The discount I believe goes towards veterans, active duty and first responders.

Sorry, perhaps overly economical with words in question: must one be US military or can allied service personnel e.g. UK also benefit?

Oh sorry, I didn't understand either. As far as I know it is only for U.S. personnel. I think the best way to find out would be to shoot them an email. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.
