Probably one of my Militaries, probably either the M4/jade or 52100 or my reground S110V. Close second to that is my modified Manix 2, then probably the S90V/CF Yojimbo 2.

However, my Sliverax is vying for one of these positions. A steel sprint or exclusive would give it a hard push.

Hi Mountainguy,

That depends on the occasion, but I really like the Military-family (Military, Paramilitary and the Para 3) but also a couple of collaboration-model. Gayle Bradley is my favorite and Fred Perrin who did the PPT.

Cheers,

The Spydie I happen to be fondling/fidgiting whenever I'm sitting to wool gather, write, read, or binge-watch is usually my favorite. It is then that I can forget my others and divine the solutions that Sal or Eric was offering in this one Spydie.

Today, while I answer the Gringo's "one last chance" challenge with an S110V Manix2 lightweight (not a favorite), my Super Blue Caly 3.5 is giving me all sorts of endorphins.

Super Blue Caly 3.5 is by far and away most carried and used. Spyderco Urban for a smaller platform. Really hoping we see some more sprints in both models.

I just started collecting Spyderco's and my favorite so far is the Para 2 in S30V. I also purchased the original Rubicon and Stepped Chaparral.
HOWEVER, a few are coming to me in the mail, so things could change. They are the BladeHQ Military M4, Para2 52100, and the Positron.

I bought a Cutlery Shoppe Native with black DLC and orange FRN, intending to swap the blade into a black handle and have a plainedge blackout Native to pair with my serrated blackout Native. But then the orange one showed up and I've fallen in love with the color. Might have to buy another one to do the bladeswap, this one is too pretty to mess with :spyder:

Enduras ( since 92 )even though they haven't made a mastiffwear sprint yet. I'd say I could stop buying knives after that but I know better. Not even if it was a titanium lockback cruwear sprint. Sal and Eric always seem to find new models no one has done before so I am compelled to try them out. Still, it would check every box I have so I hope to see one eventually. I'd buy several.

HAP40 Stretch.

Although the PM2 might be the most carried.

And the Dragonfly would win if all the different variants carry time was added together...

I have so many Spyderco models that I dearly love that it's really getting tough to say that only "ONE" particular model supersedes them all. But when I factor in design, ergonomics and the tool value of if the model is good in plain edge and Spyderedge both>> well then I think I've come up with two current leaders>>

In the folder category I'm going with my most sentimental favorite C-60 Massad Ayoob model>> I particularly just love the G-10 handled Sprint Run and was sorely disappointed when they didn't make it in Spyderedge like they did on the original C-60 Ayoob model. The Ayoob is just as good in plain edge as it is in Spyderedge>> it's actually a super unit in SE.

In Spyderco's fixed blade category there is another "old school" model that continues to be my all time favorite and very much want to see it return in a Sprint Run. I'm speaking of the TEMPERANCE 1 model and I own both the plain edge and Spyderedged units on that model as well.

That's a huge factor with me>> it's got to be good in plain edge and Spyderedge both. To me that makes it a true superbly designed Spyder.

I guess at this point the Runner UP would have to be the M390 PE Military and the 440V SE Military. It is really tough to name just one as your most favorite because there are so many great Spyderco folders and fixed blades out there IMO.
