Wondering what it might be! Looks like Eric had a hand in designing it and it's made in Golden. I'm guessing the it's the compression lock Lil' Native. Any ideas?

That'd be my guess as well. No jimping on the spine though. I don't think the prototypes shown at Blade had jimping but I kind of figured that was because they were prototypes.

Different screws. Though the rounded heads in the shot above would match the wire clip screw better. Was the lil' Native confirmed to be an Eric design?

First thought was rhino, but that’s not a golden model. Lil native seems a good possibility.

The pivot screw is really throwing me. It certainly seems like this could be the Lil Native comp lock, but it doesn’t share the same flat screwhead found on the N5, Shaman, PM2, Para 3, etc and the prototype pic above... It certainly seemed like the Lil Native would match its cousins in that respect(?).

It looks like a sage5, but those are not made in golden and wouldn’t expect a sage5 sprint.

Agree that the screws don’t look like a native or Manix. Jimping looks like a manix and manix back lock would indicate other lock types would be a possibility.

I hope it's the Lil' Native, because I don't think I can afford anymore surprises

There looks like a very small amount of jimping where the flat spine enters the handle. Could be a nod to the Native5's jimping on the spine that meets the lock bar's brief jimping.

The hardware decision is interesting but it does indeed look like a Lil Native.
