Just touched them both up earlier today. Despite how rough it looks that Tasman is sharp enough to push cut phone book paper. The Ronin 2 on the other hand can basically split atoms, it's silly. Ever since I reprofiled the edge it's sharpened up very nicely.

It's fun using it in front of people to see how they react...it just glides through things so effortlessly now...

The H1 line of knives are fantastic. The Tasman Salt I posted above is going on it's 12th year of service. I liked it so much I bought two more as back-ups for when I retire my first.

They only get better with age. The difference in opening smoothness between my old one and new is very noticeable.

If you don't have one, I'd recommend a sharpmaker, or at least one of Spydercos individual triangle rods to maintain the edge.

I agree with all that Vivi said. You couldn't have picked a better one, and with the Sharpmaker (I thoroughly recommend getting one for all your knives, tools, blades and so) they're back to scary sharp in a minute!
