So long Tempest

Well, I've been waiting for my Yojimbo since the Carter administration I think, Christina Glaesser called me up on the 30th and told me to come get it. Wow, this is a great knife, it took everything I had not to get one for left hand carry right away, I'll have to wait a bit. I have been carrying a MOD Tempest everyday for a few years, I put that one away last week w/ no intention of carrying it again. The Yojimbo is everything I hoped for, handle size is perfect, deploys easily and the blade is alot thicker than the Ronin. Simply put, I am real pleased w/ this one.

Picked up my blue one yesterday. Can't wait for the black one to show up.

Over at Bladeforums, ThinkoftheChildren showed that the Yojimbo is pretty snifty in the pikal grip. Looks like Sal, Janich, and Snody all did really well in the execution of that design.

My supplier finally got a small shipment of Yojimbos. I got one for myself and one for my wife. It is an absolutely great knife. The Tempest I carried for the past six or seven years is now honorably retired. Just as soon as black Yojimbos come out, I plan to get one and set it up for left hand carry.

Superb knife, Mr. Janich.
