Chips in metal liner under G10 on PM2?

#1

Post by dhelton »

I received a new PM 2 from Amazon that looked like it had a chip on the edge of the metal liner under the G10 scales so I sent it back. So I ordered it again from BladeHQ.com and just received today and it too appears to have a chip on both sides of the metal liner. And i seeing things or is this a real chip?

Hard to say without seeing pics but you may be referring to the start/stop point where the liners are laser cut...?

Is it a small “w” shaped notch? If so, you’re good. That’s one of the things to look for when examine a potential fake. This might be what the other guys are referencing as well. Post up some pics when you can.

Looks legit. All of my PM2's and Para3's have these marks.
