fighter knife id help

good afternoon spyderco forum...i was wondering if i may tap into the expertise here...i have purchased a fighter knife recently and i have no idea who the maker is...it seems like it was put together well and it is hair popping sharp...it did come in a Ka-Bar leather sheath...thanks for any help that can be leveled my way...

Without markings ID is impossible. It could be a kit knife or home made knife ( less likely).

It looks to me like a homemade knife. Someone was trying their hand at making and/or customizing a knife.

That is a fascinating looking knife. It has shades of a Buck fixed blade sheath knife, an old-style military knife, and a hand made knife, all together.

Could it be a modified G96 from the 1970s and 1980s?
