Oh my!!! Here are my many thousands of dollars to purchase many Native Chiefs and prints their of!!!!!!!sal wrote:The design has been in development for years. In the end, I decided to use non textured 3D G-10 with S30V. "Grip" is in the form. This is a basic to watch the model. Plenty of opportunity for sprints and exclusives. I'd like a version like the new Native fluted Carbon with S90V. I like the way it cuts. Wide flat grind. But made to be a fairly heavy duty folder. Simple, but stout.
Eric and I are considering the Native Chief as well. development is mostly done, should be easy to slide into queue.

One more vote for being excited about this knife. The combination of Manix-style blade, deep choil, and large enough size to be comfortable (the Native is too small for me to even be able to open comfortably one-handedly) looks absolutely killer.
Re: Spyderco Shaman News and Gossip Thread
So...I hear someone's about to win one of these.

I hear what you're saying, though the hump doesn't matter to me. It's the leaf shaped blade and high, flat grind that I like.bh49 wrote:this is not Manix style blade. This is no hump Native style.carpdiem wrote:The combination of Manix-style blade,

Re: Spyderco Shaman News and Gossip Thread
I would be all over trying this one out, but the s30v turns me off. I hope its a huge hit so they make sprints! I'll buy one of those.

Re: Spyderco Shaman News and Gossip Thread
Nothing against S30V, but I may hold out for a sprint too. Anyway it's exciting that it's finally out!

Thanks G-d that S30V is not turning off thousands of people, who are buying Militaries and Paras.

I'm hoping this and the PM2 Maxamet don't drop at the same time. Both are a must by for me.
