New here, South Mississippi

#1

Post by eddiebob »

Good Morning! New here, lurking no more. Several more years to retirement. I work as a drilling engineer and have been around the world on "their" money. I actually got interested in knives when in college. It was a chemical engineering course "Physical Metallurgy" that really caught my attention. Metals at a microscopic level, kind of a dry subject, but then again mathematics is my favorite subject. By this time I have a large collection of knives and probably several dozen that are in the EDC rotation. Spydercos I own: Delica 4, Ladybug, PM2, and on order a PM2 52100. I look forward to being a part of the forums here. Thanks, Ed B

Thanks, all. I live outside of Poplarville in the White Sand community. One of the attractions of Spyderco is the number of different steels that are used. Keeps it interesting!

I know just where that is. That is Golden Eagle country. Great place to use a Spyderco.
