I'm considering that Jess Horn. How do you like it? Is the opening hole sharp, like I prefer?

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Hi Jazz, I really like it, I know a few others got rough examples but the one I received is spot on, centered blade with even grinds, the hole is sharp but not too, flush back open and closed, great spring tension and no issues with the lanyard hole (some had issues).
Really my only very minimal complaint would be the size of the spydie hole, could be a little larger, that could be my fat fingers though.
Happy to be part of this great forum and group of down to earth spyderco addicts, Thanks Sal and gang.

I'm thinking if I get one, I'll have to grind a bevel in the G10 to make the hole easier to get to.farnorthdan wrote: Hi Jazz, I really like it, I know a few others got rough examples but the one I received is spot on, centered blade with even grinds, the hole is sharp but not too, flush back open and closed, great spring tension and no issues with the lanyard hole (some had issues).

I carried my Police 4, SE Caly Jr. & Bradley Air but my little guy can officially use and carry HIS Delica now. So he owns a Spydie and is part of the hoard now.....

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
That's awesome man! I entered the Spydie game a little late so my "little guy" didn't get his first Spydie(s) until about a year and a half ago. It was a few months before he left for MRCD San Diego for Marine Recruit Training. I gave a him a Delica and Persistence to get him started. I'm about to send him a Digicam/DLC PM2 before he gets deployed in a couple months.xceptnl wrote:I carried my Police 4, SE Caly Jr. & Bradley Air but my little guy can officially use and carry HIS Delica now. Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Tested out my new Police4 at work today for the first time...the platform is excellent thus far for use on a construction site with and without gloves. I'll need at least a few weeks to evaluate the steel though. It'll have a hard time dethroning CruWear for my uses and I don't see my CruWear Millie going anywhere any time soon regarding my work rotation.

and no, I haven't set fire to any living being with that mag glass, even though I've burned paper twice with it (August 2016)
