I wanna be a Corporate Shill. Something I have not yet experienced in my life.

I hope I'm not the only one who finds this hilariously misguided. Corporate shills? Right, because spyderco is a Fortune 500 company with a whole p.r. branch that pushes corporate identity. Give me a break. It's just kristie and sal who are the face of what is essentially a small family owned business.
Not sure what kind of serious discussion you intend to have. The only thing kristie doesn't tolerate is trolling...

flounce
verb
1. go or move away in an exaggeratedly impatient or angry manner.
"he stood up in a fury and flounced out like a petulant little girl who couldn't get her own way"
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

No, it's really those darn bats that make discussion impossible.

If you're a pocket knife enthusiast and you swear off Spyderco you're gonna miss out on a lot of unique designs and awesome blade steels. It would decrease my total knife purchases by about 70% and is a very depressing thought experiment. Fewer guys going for the Sprint runs is always welcome, so good riddance! :p

This Andersson guy is awesome. Very funny actually. We need to all bet on how long (in months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds) until his next post. Maybe Spyderco could sponsor the betting, and reward a knife to the person who bets the closest amount of time? :D

Edited to add: I'm putting my bet a 7 months, 13 days, 5 hours, 2 minutes, and 45 seconds from his last post (start of this thread) until his next post.

A vibrant userbase is generally the lifeblood of any forum, so I usually don't like to see anyone leave the forums I frequent because they feel unwelcome. At the same time, however, it is equally important to call out and discourage trolls. "Shilling" requires more than simply calling out pedestrian attempts at trolling for bringing down the level of discourse in an otherwise valuable thread. I haven't seen where anyone has done more than this in response to the OP's pointless and ill-conceived attempts to troll various threads.
