Which knives feature a Ti handle?

#1

Post by Rob »

Hi folks!

I tried to search the forums, but found nothing useful :(

I am just curious which :spyder: 's were made with a Ti-handle. Only 3 models come to my mind:

Police, ATR and Salsa

Was (or is) there anything else out there that features Titanium?

Cheers, Rob

Lum Tanto linerlock folder in Ti, of course.
It rocks!

Ti Peter Herbst

They didn't make many of them but they did make the Peter Herbst with a Titanium handle. That particular knife was made in Solingen, Germany. The blade steel was 440c. The one that I own is a combo edge. I am not sure if there are any others. :) :spyder: :)

Ti Delica??

Say "rycen" when did they make that Ti Delica? I do faintly remember seeing one of them on Ebay last spring. Was it in the ATS-55 era by chance?

Hello there "Civilian". You are one of the few who are aware of the Ti Herbst.
Do you know by chance how many of them that they made. Also wasn't it in about 1999 when they ran them. The one I own is a numbered one ( 707). I have only physically seen one other than the one I own. I know! I know! I need to get out more often ( ha ha ha). Maybe you might be able to tell me where I can get that info. :) :spyder: :)

I am fairly sure that the Ti Delica was ATS-34.

Titanium handle

Hello

The only other I can think of is the Mini-Police necklace and key ring with titanium handle. The tie clip version was SS I think

Ti Delica is indeed ATS-34 and can still be bought in Japan (also via the internet).

OK, to summarize it a little bit...

C07 Police
C11 Delica
C46 Lum Tanto
C53 Peter Herbst
C70 ATR
C71 Salsa
MN07 Police Necklace

Does anybody know if the C22 Walker featured Ti liners? And if I remember correctly I read somewhere that the Spyderfly was planned with Ti handles - I just can't find it anymore. Is that true and if yes, where there any made?

Cheers, Rob
