Does anyone know of an equivalent steel to CTS XHP that they would be able to source in Seki? I really want to try this steel in one of the FRN models.

I would love to see Spyderco make a large fixed blade with spear point Lc200N steel blade and FRN handle, full tang, with a hard polymer or metal scabbard.

The spear point blade can come serrated and plain edged.

Thank you in advance.

Yes please! Although nowadays US steels can also be shipped to Japan for production but it seems unlickely for such a well known/used steel to be used for an FRN Sprint.
I would go for something like that or LC200N but would probably try some of any other steel as well..

Lets call it S20V.
