What color for a new Japan frn sprint?
I know that lots of folks will have lots of preferences but it seems like these two colors are frontrunners right now so I wanted to make a poll just to see which of these two would be more popular. I like both a lot...so much so that I haven't even voted yet because I can't decide.
These are the best representations of the two colors I can find.

Agreed. I liked that shade on the motorcycle. I would vote for most any shade of green though.Slumblor wrote:not exactly the green i pictured from the other thread, but still voted green. Could be my monitor though too

This green looks too close to British Racing, doesn't it?

Ok ok, somebody find a better example of green for me and I'll add it to the op. :o I looked until my eyes hurt and this was as close as I could find.

Don't understand why these two, but green over most colors for me. Similar to OD green?

It just seemed like these two were getting most of the talk in that thread. I was just curious which was more popular since I like them both.anycal wrote:Don't understand why these two, but green over most colors for me. Similar to OD green?

Here's a pic of the color I posted in the op next to the bike. I don't know, I think they are pretty darn close.

Re: What color for a new Japan frn sprint?
When I was a kid we had '70s green appliances and I believe that the manufacturer called it avocado green. I personally like it. My only concern would be that the triumph green may end up too similar to the foliage green frn Spyderco already uses. I would like it a little greener than that foliage green.
I like both colors but I am gonna vote green because it is my favorite color.
I like this green. It came up in a search for avocado green. It is just a little greener.

This "greener" avocado green seems like a good option too.bearfacedkiller wrote:I like this green. It came up in a search for avocado green. It is just a little greener.

I am not a fan of either. If it is to be green, then Sage Green or something.

Any green works for me. Goldenrod is nice too but I'd prefer that on a Jazzlica wharnie with HAP40 or Something..

Re: What color for a new Japan frn sprint?
I like green, but can't stand the BRG on the ZDP's. that's beside the point. I voted goldenrod, but I like both you put up there.
- best wishes, Jazz.
Re: What color for a new Japan frn sprint?
I'm in the green camp!
I think the goldenrod might be OK but I'm on the fence because of burnt orange. For example, I like my burnt orange Delica because the polished clip, hardware and blade break it up nicely. On the other hand it overpowers my little Manbug and I think it's a little 'In your face' on the larger Stretch and Endura.
Just my 2c worth. :)

With a "70s green," divine is in the details. One direction leads to a vintage roadster or motorcycle, the other will evoke a Westinghouse refrigerator.
(one pleasing Triumph shade was Laurel Green.)
Either green or goldenrod would be fine, but a goldenrod/topaz blend would be mo bettah.
