Caly 3.5 HAP40...

#1

Post by Bdubs808 »

The Caly 3 HAP40 with green G10 has been selling like crazy, and many folks are already asking for a Caly 3.5 HAP40 as a bigger option. I'm in the group of people who would buy one, just to have the matching set. So Sal & Spyderco crew, please create this awesome Caly 3.5 HAP40 Sprint sometime in the future, and thank you for always listening to our requests.

I'd definitely be in for this. My CF 3.5 gets more carry time than any other Spydie. :spyder:

I'm in 100% as long as the build quality is right. I went through three super blue Caly 3.5s and never got one that didn't have lots of play in the lock.

I would buy this.

Though I do find the Caly3 arguably a more practical EDC in my use, the amount of blade that folds out of the 3.5 is astonishing.

I will resist this one. Then you all will start up about it, post a bunch of order status posts, I'll waffle and then go on the hunt for one as they get "hoovered up." Haha ack!

A HAP40 Caly 3.5 would be a great knife and I would be in for one. As long as I am dreaming, I would hope they move production to Golden and update the lock as they have with the Native and Manix.

I wouldn't get stressed out about it. If it happens it will probably be at least a year and maybe 2 to 3 years before they show up.

During the last year I found myself carrying Caly3 significantly more often than caly3.5. Still I will be in for one.
