Has anyone ordered one from Knife Outlet, and if so have you received a shipping notice yet? I ordered Monday and am concerned they might have pulled the same overselling with the PM3 as they did with the Caly sprint.

Ha, was gonna cancel my preorder for the cruwear so I could buy the sliverax later on. Next day knivecenter shipped it over already. It's heading to the Netherlands and already halfway through transit. I'm just going to have to live with it. It'll compliment my pm2 in cruwear perfectly I suppose. All sarcasm aside, huzzah! It'll arrive Monday and can't wait. Now, after the sliverax I'll be done with buying new knives (No I won't).

At this point I should start working on a go to explanation for when I get asked why I need so many knives.

Well, I just received an email which says the following:

Canceled

Which confuses me because I did not request a cancelation, and my money is still held as processing, so I just emailed them to see what the dealio is. While I've heard some people have had some troubles with knife outlet in the past, the couple orders I've done were smooth... guess we shall see how this pans out.

The product is oversold and no longer available.  I can't get any more.  Pending means your card was not charged.  Sorry for the trouble.

That's ridiculous. So they basically lied again about having stock when they didn't, but at least with the Caly they admitted to it within a few hours. There's no excuse for them to hold on to your money for three days without saying anything (possibly causing you to miss out on other vendors' limited stock). Sorry they screwed you. I'll keep my order with them for now to give them a chance to make good, but I doubt I'll ever buy from them again. Certainly not any limited release...

I haven't ordered from them directly, but I believe they're legit. I have one of their exclusives with Kershaw, and I assume (perhaps incorrectly?) that they must be fairly sizable to have Kershaw make them an exclusive.

House of Blades is kind of close to me. They have a huge selection but their prices are too high for me to buy much from them.

Edit: I see their online store is now selling at MAP. Good to know!
