Re: Dragonfly Salt HAWKBILL is happening!
What's with all the Salt Hype? I've never had a knife rust away, not even the cheapest one. And i seriously doubt any of you is a neighbor of Spongebob.
Re: Dragonfly Salt HAWKBILL is happening!
It's more about the Dragonfly Hawkbill for a lot of us, we've been begging for one many years. Do a search and you'll find lots of threads about it. The fact that it's H1 and serrated just mean it has the best steel for serrations. The fact that it won't rust is just a bonus.Fritzbert wrote:What's with all the Salt Hype? Saw their post about it last night. It's about time!! Pretty stoked for this one.
Re: Dragonfly Salt HAWKBILL is happening!
Exactly. This is why I've wanted this knife for so long. It's the perfect companion blade to your main EDC.swigert wrote:Yes!!!!!! Imho this will be the perfect knife to pair with larger PE blades.

I don't think Spongebob handles knives. Otherwise it would be r-rated.VashHash wrote:But what if one of us is Spongebob?Fritzbert wrote:What's with all the Salt Hype? I've never had a knife rust away, not even the cheapest one. And i seriously doubt any of you is a neighbor of Spongebob.

Because H1 has better edge retention than any other steel when serrated. It isn't just about being stainless.Fritzbert wrote:What's with all the Salt Hype? I've never had a knife rust away, not even the cheapest one. And i seriously doubt any of you is a neighbor of Spongebob.

Looks pretty nice. Not for me, but I'm happy for those that have been hoping. I love the Dragonfly, but I don't love hawkbills.
- best wishes, Jazz.

With a black edge and those yellow handles i might be willing to try it.
Re: Dragonfly Salt HAWKBILL is happening!
