This one since I got it about a week ago...

Did you paint the burnt orange or swap handle with a standard model?
It looks painted, and I like the idea of painting over so that as it wears it gets a neat dual tone character.

I wish I had nice picture of the knife I had in my pocket today. I needed to cut something while I was at work. So I reached in pocket for my knife and came up empty. I quickly realized I left my K390 Urban LW, along with a Manbug, sitting on my desk this morning. First time I've done that in months.
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

The worst feeling when you realize it's not there. I did the exact same thing yesterday, left the PM2 I planned on carrying on my dresser.Sharp Guy wrote:I wish I had nice picture of the knife I had in my pocket today. I dyed it black first but not very deeply and then used fine grit sand paper to make the worn out look.attila wrote:

Carrying my Maxamet Manix and perusing my old New England cookbook, copyright 1939. :D I love old cookbooks because they are a great window into the past. This one is exceptionally interesting.

Got a nice patina forming there! I love old cook books. My fave is one i have from 76'. The recipes are so much simpler and easy to follow, and not steering you towards some Brand or Diet.
