Here's a Para3 w/ canvas micarta scales from Knockwood Blades. Clip is pretty self-explanatory...

Here's a Techno w/ contoured CF scale, and my favorite - the RGT milled ti clip. I love the clip because it eliminates the hotspot that the original wire clip creates. Also ground off the hump - I like to move my thumb all over that blade spine, and this makes it easier.

Yep, both Delicas. Top is Hap40, bottom Wharnie. Steve Butcher/Boomer52 on bladeforums did both sets of scales. It's his Li'l Para design & it totally rocks. :)

I have more custom clips than scales... for now. :p

I think I like the MXG clips ones in the top two photos better than the Casey Lynch ones on the others.
That's the MXG clip for the tenacious/native 5 frn right? How do you like it? Does it rest on the flat spot? I just ordered one in hopes of carrying my Maxamet native 5 more.

Yep, that's an MXG Tenacious clip on the FRN Native. The dip falls just a bit past the flat spot, unfortunately. I haven't had any problems with it but I only take my knife in and out of my pocket a few times each day.

Better photo of the fit: Image

I've been wondering if the short MXG Military clip might fit better, but I haven't gotten around to ordering one to try.

Thanks ronbo, all credit to Chad (Xplorer) though, he really went above and beyond for me on that mule.

By the way, anyone heard from Chad lately, haven't seen him post up for a bit, must be out exploring.

Hi guys and gals,

For the Native 5LW try the MXG clip for the ZT0452. It will does not stick up beyond the scale like the tenacious clip will and has the same overall look as the MXG tenacious clip. I have put 4 on my LWs. Highly recommend this clip over the tenacious clip for the Natives.

Swick with contoured orange G10 scales I dyed black. Pulled them out of the dye before they were solid black, very happy with the result.

This is how how the scales looked when I purchased the knife

Slightly OT, but what's the appeal of a deep carry clip? From my perspective they make the knife harder to draw, cost more, and usually doesn't match the styling as well as factory clips.

This one is from blade4sell. It is flush with scales, flush flathead screws, and sits center on the flat part of handle.

That said, for heavy use, I prefer the stock clip. Or better yet, no clip.

Bought a user Military Cruwear; cleaned it up first; dyed the scales with RIT Pearl Gray; Added MXGear DCPC and Blue Titanium Standoffs :spyder:
