That does sound like a cool knife but I'm more interested in the ukpk getting the salt treatment. I don't know that they can/would work with LC200N in their Italy factory.

I've been a vocal advocate of using the UKPK to showcase some of the new steels (kind of like an affordable folding mule), so I'm definitely with the idea. Would a Lc200n UKPK become my primary folder on the kayak? No, but I think it would make an excellent rust proof edc slipjoint and I would certainly own one. Good idea!

This would be an excellent excuse to try lc200n. I've liked my non locking urban a lot more than I thought I would

I live in the UK on the coast... Would love a yellow h1 ukpk...

I already have the salt 1 and pacific salt but carrying them always makes me feel uneasy as they lock so a non locking UK version would be a lifesaver!

Hi Sal, you don't want to deny our UK friends and friends from other countries with restrictive knife laws the joy of trying out LC200N, do you? ;)

And you can't tease Liquid Cobra and us others with such a great idea for a UKPK without coming through! Do they even offer "Salt" yellow G10?

Sounds like a fabulous idea for a G10 sprint run (those are LONG overdue!) or as a standard offering in FRN, or better yet both! Cheers, Radioactive :)

I'm coming around on this. Been carrying a UKPK or Urban so often recently that it sort of makes me question why I have so many other folders lol, it's hard to turn down new ideas for more variants!

I'm only at the beach for a week or so each year, but it was nice having my Manbug Salt this time around and not having any worries about corrosion.

Hailon's post also struck a cord with me. Even though I don't have a need for "rustproof" type corrosion resistance on a day to day basis, I hate to think of our friends across the pond not having a legal edc option to take to Blackpool when they go on holiday. :(

I think I'd lean toward frn on this one though, they can put g10 or peel-ply cf on the 52100 sprint! :D

Would you call it the "North Sea Salt?"

I'd buy a few in a heartbeat. I'd do Urbans too. I suspect it will help European tourism from the USA.

I'd love a Salt Series UKPK. In honor of this thread I'm carrying my Orange G-10 UKPK Rescue.

I'm down with this idea.
I'm loving the LC200N mule. Using it in my kitchen. This steel is really impressive.
And really liking my s110v ukpk.
Combine these 2 and you have a winner.

I am absolutely desperate for a Salt slipit, not just for the on the water or at the beach but because Salts are so much easier to wash out when they are dirty without worrying about trapped water and corrosion in the pivot. I've been using my Pacific Salt at a Barbeque today and I can run it under the tap or even through the dishwasher to keep it hygienic. I'm desperate enough that I have a dragonfly Salt on order, so I can butcher the lock and make it a slipjoint.

I prefer the UKPK Sheepsfoot or the Urban to the leaf UKPK, but actually, I'd buy any of them and probably more than one.

I'd love to have one just to try out the steel in a platform I really like. I don't really need the corrosion resistance, but if I can have it without compromising much on steel performance, why not?

I don't own a UKPK, but it's on my list. I'd also like to try LC200n so I'd be interested in this. I could do with something other than yellow though
