Wow - hop on that, seem that they are still taking orders at that price. That is +25% discount to the previous low. I wonder why that model is taking those hits and the others are not.

Thanks for the heads up on the Caly 3.5. I ordered one at that fantastic price, and I am crossing my fingers that amazon doesn't cancel my order because its out of stock.

Amazon has an interesting price algorithm in place to keep products moving and match competitors. It's probably some weird combination of the two that results in these crazy low prices at times.

For those that don't use Honey on their web browser... get it. Here's the graph on the Caly for Amazon price history. My only question: do I need this knife?

The first time I saw a Spyderco was the early 90s at a knife shop in a mall. I can still see the SpydieHoles through that glass display cabinet. My parents wouldn't buy any of them for me... so now I buy them all. :spyder:

Holy cow!! Tempted to order one on the off chance they restock and honor that price. Wasn't really looking for another 3.5, but I have like $50 in cash back from my CC that I can spend on Amazon. Was looking at giving the Delica another shot, but a CF and ZDP Caly for an extra ten bucks is crazy.

Wow! Jumped on it too despite the temp out of stock. Hopefully it ships!

Your handle says Yes. ;)

Heck, at that price it can be resold for profit. Or even better, what I call leveraged gifting. That would make one heck of a gift...if I can let it go.

That's a great price. Fortunately I don't like the laminated ZDP and I don't like that carbon fiber.

Caly 3.5
I've seen this low once.
Now it was lower.
I don't have any back locks and am not too interested in them, also not too interested in the non-Golden models (nothing wrong with them, just preference).

But I had to order. I check back two hours later and it isn't listed anymore.

Ha, well... I ordered it. Hoping they honor it like the others!

I am willing to bet they don't honor that. I fully expect to see some lame email from them soon begging out of the deal. But oh well, cost nothing to try.

Has anyone had amazon cancel orders in the past? I never have but I've also never order something "out of stock" before for a crazy price.

The price is now up to $165. I can't imagine they'll honor a $90 discount.

I think that they will honor. Even if this a loss, than it is not much for them to keep customers happy. They honored $104 price.

They also honored the $60 Puukko deal a while back. But those were in stock...until this crew cleaned them out. Mwahaha

Of course they'll honor it as long as the knife is available.
