Nice! I have the combo blade VG10 Endura with Foliage Green handles and love it - I am sure this is no exception, although I'd probably pass on anything Damascus unless it's to just keep in the safe. Really nice though.

Interesting development: National has 8 available at $140 on ebay, but none available on the web site...

Are these still trickling out through regular channels and if so are they being sold at MAP or suggested retail?

At this point if I really had the jones for a damascus Delica I'd spring the extra $20 for an easily available Ti handled version, rather than pay retail for the FRN version.

Got mine today too and I acknowledge it is beautiful. I also got it because I don't own a single Delica and thought if I was gonna only have one it might as well be this bad boy. It is so nice I am gonna probably sell it on the exchange because my new rule is only buy what I will use and as gorgeous as this knife is there is no way I would cut anything with it.

It is also the first Damascus blade purchase for me. Probably won't buy anymore. Don't see how anyone would cut something with it and take the chance of marring it.

But well done Spyderco, well done.

This is my second damascus knife. My other one is the 40th anniv., so far some faint markings from light use haven't really diminished the beauty of that knife. I plan on using this one a little harder. If you got it for MAP though, you'd probably make a quick buck selling it on the second market, can't blame you there.
