Is the Para 3 Maxamet a Sprint? Or will it be a regular release? I might have to wait for that one before getting aboard the Para 3 train. Or I might need to just get the PM2 in Maxamet...

Maxamet is a production steel, so the Para Military 2 and Para 3 Maxamets are new production variations.

I too am surprised about the CRUWEAR price. S110V at $140, Maxamet at $170, and S90V at $190.

Seeing that, I think it will be P3 in CRUWEAR and PM2 in Maxamet.

Cru-wear at that price is hard to beat but for me I'm thinking my top choice is gonna be the s110v. It's such a good all around performer, love that steel. Will just swap out for some custom scales to really personalize it. If I didn't already have spyderco knives in the other steels, there might be a tougher choice for me. I want a good all around pm3 user and S110v ticks all the boxes off.

Pre-ordered mine a couple days ago... I'm a big fan of the Spyderco 'blacked out' variants...

Fortunately my brother has the original Para 3 and I was able to handle it first to confirm the model/design is a comfortable grip in my hand.. So I'm expecting to really like this knife once I receive it... I was surprised at how light these weigh...

Para 3 Maxamet for me. I was about to light up the credit card for a Native 5 in Maxamet, but I love the compression lock and this will fit nicely between Sage 5 and CF Millie in S90V. For now, trying to make each Sypderco I own a different steel.
