I think my C24 Alu Blackhawk is the oldest spydie in my carry rotation, it was made in the early nineties I think.

The oldest I have? Dunno, probably a slab side Worker or Mariner. Oldest I carry regularly is my C-44 Dyad.

While not carried regularly, I always open my mail with a Civilian. That knife has been chewing through envelopes for a little over a decade now.

My daily carry for the last few years has been a SE ZDP Endura and a SB Caly 3.5.

In the grand scheme of things, not very old, but they do what I need.

The oldest Spyder I'm currently carrying is my vintage ATS-55, Stainless Handled RESCUE model. That folder has withstood the test of time and performs like a "Salt Water Crocidile" I got about 4 other Spyders out of that era but the stainless RESCUE gets the nod most of the time.

Some of the Spyders during the late 90s, early 2000s are truly timeless and are also some of the very best Spyderco models ever made IMO.

Too lazy to go take a pic, but I still carry a first run Pacific Salt. Been beat to **** but I still prefer it to my CTS204P Millie, Szabo folder and other higher priced knives.

Between Pacific Salts and my Manix XL DLC I think I'm done buying folding knives for a few years. Can't think of anything other knives have on them that matters to me.

Now if they do an LCN200 Manix XL, which they won't, I'd grab a few :)

Gin 1/G2 Endura FRN I bought in 92. I carry it at times when I'm sharpening my newer ones. It sits more often than it did as I now have a Vg10 Endura as a spare while sharpening my HAP 40 or SB Enduras. The original is still in great shape except the FRN clip is too loose to be useful. The knife opens so nicely it's a reference of what I hope for in my newer knives. It just got smoother and smoother as time went by. I only kept it clean and it broke in perfectly.

The oldest one that I regularly carry is a gray FRN Calypso Jr. That run is from 2004.

My very first Spyderco was a 1997 C35Q that I carried every day until it vanished from my pocket a couple years later. My second one was a blue SE Delica 3 (2001) that I carried pretty much every day as well for 7 years. I've since more or less retired it, not due to any functionality issues, but due to the array of other Spyderco options I now have.

My oldest carry knife of all is my trusty old stainless Endura II PE that I got in the mid-90s, and took to Iraq and Afghanistan. It's been through **** and is still the sharpest blade in my knife case, and I'll probably take it with me on this next deployment as well.

My newest acquisition is a Zome green Endura that I picked up at a local gun show, and I absolutely love it, so it MIGHT edge the old stainless EII out of the running, at least for a little while.

I wonder if there might come a time when the Zome green Enduras might get a flat ground DLC-coated blade? That would ROCK.

My first spydie, a PM2 CTS-20CP. It got a scale swap and a convex along the way. It has improved with age, I honestly like it better today than when it was new!

Image

The oldest spydie I carry occasionally is the JD Smith from 1999:
