A cautionary tale.
1st. USPS delivery is shady as h***. I don't want to sound bitter because I had a bad experience but oh well, I'm never shipping with USPS again. This is the first stolen package, but far from the first problem I've had with them. No notifications, wrong dates, notes that say "sorry we missed you", when you are home! I've had problems with usps for a while, this was the last straw. UPS from now on. It's worth the extra money.
2nd. I requested they leave it at the door because of previous problems I've had with USPS leaving notes on my door saying sorry we missed you when I'm home. This was a mistake on my part. I thought worst case scenario, I reorder... Well, I did. And looking back on it, I'm always going to require a signature for my deliveries from now on. Because it's not just reordering, it's filling out police reports, and credit card claims, and feeling ripped off. Having to take 30 minutes out of my day to drive to the post office to pick something up (even if your package was supposed to be delivered on friday and you can't pick it up from the post office till monday) is better than this.
