Native Chief - Can we get a heartbeat?

Browsing BF yesterday, I came upon an old photo thought to be an early Native Chief proto.

And, if I recall, a Native Chief proto was at the Amsterdam Meeting this year, but could not be photographed.

All to say, I'm now reminded to ask what we can fairly expect about the Native Chief.

If the Native were about the size of a Stretch it would be amazing.

Been waiting for this one for years. I do believe the prototypes have been around for a little while, but no photos. Any news would be great.

The new Manix 2 Back Lock that is being released is pretty close.

The new Native "Shaman" is about the same blade length as the Stretch.

I just got done handling Shaman's that were being carried by Eric and Sal at the OKCA show this weekend. They are going to be a hit and can only describe it as a Para2 sized, compression lock Native. The knife should appeal to a very wide audience.

Since this is in the top secret / no photos stage, I'm envisioning it as kind of a Superhawk sized Sage 5..? Is that close? Compression lock Manix-ish?

3D CF & compression lock on a large Native? this is getting very interesting! Although, I also fear it may be getting costly?

About the Chief, not the Shaman, I've been hoping for a PowerLock, like the one in my Tatanka. Given the early photo, which shows a back lock, the Chief certainly looks hefty enough to warrant the PowerLock.

The 40th Anniversary Native is 3D/contoured fluted CF. I assume the knife in question will be similar sans the fluting.
