Another maker for aftermarket Kydex I'd recommend is ZuluBravo Kydex. He's already done a sheath for the Ark I believe.

Thanks for the sheath suggestions.

By the way someday a full video review is still coming, I haven't forgotten about it. I'm actually testing out a new camera and waiting for a new tripod in the mail, then I'll get to work. I think I'll film some shots with a camera and tripod and some with my go pro.

Thanks for the review.

The ARK was designed to be intuitive and easily used, in addition to compact, secure, and lightweight. Those goals conflict with a knife usable in a reverse grip (though Sam and I are working on a compact fighting knife especially designed to be rapidly transitionable between multiple grips).

The chain on the ARK is short, but fortunately any standard military dogtag chain can be purchased from a military clothing and sales for a couple of bucks, and the chain can be customized for length in about a minute.

I used the ARK for slicing fruit and vegetables on a 5 day kayaking trip last year. It works well as long as the fruit isn't too thick.

It is a shame that the G Clip spacing is a little off to mount using the existing rivet holes on the ARK sheath. I'll take the blame for that, since I forgot to mention it to Sal until after the fact.

I drilled a hole in my sheath just for that purpose :)

Thought I'd post an update.

Been carrying my Ark more often recently. I like how it pairs with a larger SE knife like a Pacific Salt.

I decided on this paracord carry system for a few reasons.

I like carrying the Ark horizontal on my belt, near the buckle. I also like carrying it in my back pocket at times. This setup lets me do either in comfort.

Gclips and Tekloks were a bit bulky when switching to pocket carry. I also find the paracord loops hold the knife tighter against my body, so it moves around less.

Hey Vivi, does the hole you drilled in the sheath allow the G clip to fit?
