Mr. Glesser, are there any plans to produce this knife at some point?

Personally, I think it's a great looking knife. Love the wharncliffe blade. Definitely something I would buy :D :spyder:
On a side note, I am a big fan of the other three Marcin Slysz designed Spyderco knives. Most recently picked up the SpydieChef, very happy with it so far. Thanks!

I would love to see this hit production! The swayback is probably my favorite design from Marcin Slysz!

Since the first time I saw these pictures, I am in love with this knife!

Well the Bowie is $300 and the SpydieChef is $200, so I assume something like that would be priced in this range.OakTree wrote:Looks expensive.

This would my dream come true if spyderco made this. Titanium swayback with a Spydie hole? Check, check, check!

If a solid backspacer is used, I would certainly be interested in buying one. :)

Considering how most of this revealed list from 2015 is already in the catalog, I'd say chances are pretty high, as I can't see any technical reason why Spyderco would have difficulty with this.425KRS wrote: Is it though? That's the question!
I am guessing it'll all come down to market timing and production schedules. I wouldn't be surprised to see a small slate of 'modern traditionals' roll down together: the Schempp Essence, the Slysz Swayback, and the Reinhold Barlow (is this the official name?) have all been shown at Amsterdam (and probably in the prototype case at shows).

Fingers crossed that this one shows up in the Amsterdam report thread.

If this were to come with a 3" blade, I'd be all over it fo sho.
Re: Mr. Glesser, are there any plans to produce this knife at some point?
Swaybacks aren't comfortable, in my opinion.
- best wishes, Jazz.

I am still hoping for this one, ever since pics were first posted so long ago (PiterM?)
I think it would make a great Gents knife.
If Spyderco passes, I may have to go after an original.

Eric has it on his list. His designs are popular with our customers so it will eventually be built. Eric opted for the Chef first, then the Techno 2, then the swayback.
