Not trying to break any rules here, but is it me reading more in to a name than what is there?
The knives have a opening feature that Spyderco is known for plus they use the word Golden in the name?
It all seems in poor taste to me.

I think the "Golden" is a coincidence and the angled hole insert looks a lot different than the Spydie hole. It's an interesting and eye-catching (no pun intended) design but doubt it works better than the Spydie hole.

Have you tried closing the Tri-AD lock, it's VERY hard. I just got a Frenzy and I love the knife but the lock is a pain in the butt.
