For Samo, it has to be the C-01 Worker! :D :spyder: :D No matter how much you look at it, it will never defy time and obsolescence.. :D Samo loves his Worker.. Very much! What's your take?

Sure wish they would bring back the PE Hunter in the newer steels.

Also the PE Pro-Grip is another favorite. Would like one of those too without the Kraton. But thats just me. :)

Hi Samo,

One knife I hold near and dear is an Almite Worker from Sal's collection. A friend in Scotland let me have it with documentation. I guess it's kind of a first of a first.

I agree with samo, the initial run of Worker's with the thin scales and square edges is still a great design.

The other Spyder that I will never let go of is my Jess Horn C27 with the bone handle. I love the blade shape, and the milled opener was another great achievement as one of the very nicest designs for one hand opening created to date.

The C15 Bob Terzuola Aluminium and the C19 Bob Terzuola Jr. Aluminium look really cool. I never handled one, but they just have that special thing.

Not sure the Starmate, C55G combo, CPM440V, G10 is vintage. But it also is my favorite of my early purchased Spyde's ( I think it became available around 1998).

The Green Handle Endura.
It was my first Spydie. Ya know what they say....Ya never forget your first!

After that, the C48 Wegner line. Man I wish they would make a come back in VG-10!

Tufram coated Police Knife. It's "aluminum" light, it has hard to scratch scales and the blade is ... well ..... a big Police Knife blade. I've got one that I carry from time to time and one safe queen.

I have expressed many times that my favorite oldie is the CO1 As well! I think a sprint in FRN would be awesome!

Next fave is the Co-Pilot...*sigh*, how I miss mine from time to time! LOL!

Finally, the Aluminum w/ Kraton insert PE Civilian. Had the cash, but a cop beat me to it...UGH!

Well folks, there's nuthin like a good ole Worker.. Its sexy, got class and warms up purty good to ya! Its a :spyder: which inspires any budding :spyder: user or collector alike.. :D

The Worker is nice. However, I still preffer the C05 Standard. G-10 and ATS-55, what a great combination :)

Favorites?

Horn. All variations except the jigged bone. Perfect gentleman knives all.

Goddard. All variations, even though the small one was a bit, well, small. Working on getting the gray one as I type.

Rookie was another great one. Could not have packed another millimeter of blade into the handle.

Last one was the Wegner. Loved that knife, but got rid of it when I started to worry about loosing a discontinued knife I would have a very tough time hunting down and replacing. Not to mention the backflips of mental abuse I would have gone through, constantly reminding myself of my own stupidity. That train of thought brought me to the point of carrying only Delicas. Black ones at that. All my Horns and Goddards (and the couple of Rookies) are sitting safely in a safe waiting for a display box to be built. Laziness currently has a stranglehold on that particular project.

A vote for the Goddard. It was my first spyderco and one of my all time favourite knives. Before the Goddard, I thought spyderco's were ugly. The goddard changed all that for good.
