Re: Show off your latest purchase
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Re: Show off your latest purchase
My latest purchases over the past 1-2 months.
The Mini Police to join the pride of my smaller Spydies collection, the Mini Mariner :)
The Spin in nishijin glass fiber which I had before, but gifted with the holidays.
Missed that one, so scored a new one :p
A Spyderench seeing how my knife hobby started out with multitools and I've wanted one for quite some time.
The Spyderco Yang as a trusty kitchen knife and of course my back-up nib Kris so I can finally justify carrying/using my other one!
A tiger has claws.
A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.
Grails: Abalone Mini Mariner, Ti ATR, WTC, Ti Lum Tanto

Re: Show off your latest purchase
I went a little crazy with tax return $$$. I usually only buy one or two knives a year, sometimes less, so this was a lot for me :)
First I got a Swick 3 off a fellow Spyderco forum user. He mentioned it had scales and a sheath, but I didn't rralize they were Anso style scales. That look has always caught my eye....this is my first time actually handling some. They feel great, the grip really fits my hand perfectly, much better than the naked Swick I EDC'd years ago...
Next, the fruits of my New Graham Knives visit. I travel on I77 frequently so I make a habit of stopping in Bluefield for lunch and knife shopping.
Bought a Yojimbo 2 for days I feel like carrying a small knife. Backup Pacific Salt since the PE satins were already discontinued and the E3 style handles are on the way out, which I prefer to E4. Efficient for my lady's first Spyderco and Cara Cara as a gift for a friend.
Lastly I have a backup Szabo folder on the way :D Favorite folder Spyderco makes, recently discontinued, and I found it for 40$ cheaper than the sale price on my first. Had to grab a backup while they're so cheap!
