Please help me find Manix 2 Plain Edge 154CM w Hollow Grind

Please help me a find Manix 2 Plain Edge 154CM with a Hollow Grind blade.
Any suggestions ? I've been monitoring eBay, Amazon and a few knife forums without much luck.
Anyone know of a suggestion for a knife forum that is Spyderco heavy or anywhere else ?

Thank you.

You may want to call around to the usual online retailers and see what they can dig up. Some of them may have some old stock laying around.

Thanks but I can't jump quite that high. That seller is price gouging to the point where its offensive.
Thanks again for the link. I appreciate it regardless of the seller.

While you're free to not want to pay that amount, how is charging $5 less than current G-10 Manix 2 MSRP "price gouging"? As Inigo Montoya would say, "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." :p

Inigo's father, Domingo the swordsmith, was accused of price-gouging on a sword he built for Count Rugen. Rugen was so incensed at the price gouging for the blade that he murdered Domingo. Thus the vengeance sought by Inigo on Count Rugen:

One might be inclined to send you an email with an offer to sell you the knife you seek, but that would be contrary to the No buy/sell/trade policies and etiquette of the forum/no covert solicitation. Keep your eye on BF Exchange and ebay if you dislike dealer prices on disco'ed Spydercos.

good luck

When the street price on eBay and at local gun & knife shows is $60 or less used / $90 new, well.....
Used knives are like horses, people are only willing to pay what they are willing.

While the picture shows 154CM, the details say it's S30v a couple times.

Yes, I think the seller possibly has a new description for an older stock photo. I've seen this on eBay many times, Ebay sellers always disclaim with "Item may appear slightly different than picture" we all know what that means.

You're also looking to buy an out of production item, which generally means you're gonna have to pay more. For reasons I can't understand, this particular model has a small cult following so that adds to the price too. Personally if the Manix 2 had stayed with this grind, I wouldn't own one today and it definitely wouldn't be one of my favorite models.

You're right, and the same goes for new knives and "new, old stock" discontinued knives.

FWIW, Country Knives is primarily a brick and mortar knife store, they have a website, but don't rely on internet sales. They charge full MSRP for every knife they sell and few online buyers are willing to pay that these days. However, that's exactly why they often have stock of models that have been long discontinued. At least until someone comes along who's willing to pay their asking price.
