Before the Hap40 hype ends, who else would like a Hap40 Jazz delica?

Hap 40 may have much more wear resistance but it is more prone to rust. I have a hap 40 delica that had two small pits near the tip as soon as I took it out of the package. I used flitz and scrubbed the **** out of the spot and now they are very tiny. It doesnt bother me but it does remind me that vg10 is the cats meow. I feel the same way about S110v.

Hap 40 gets sharp and stays sharp. At least on my Delica. I didn't really force a patina per se, but I did make a point to cut lemons with my delica and then clean it thoroughly the first few days I had it. No problems with corrosion after that.

You have to assume that holeshot was mistaken since a Wharncliffe Delica with HAP40 steel doesn't actually exist at this point.

Does HAP 40 chip at all, or is it stronger? If it's strong too, I'd be all over it. I would rather a sprint with the brighter goldenrod yellow for a work knife.
- best wishes, Jazz.
