I'm intrigued by the 100 Paces. I like the Caribbean more after seeing the video.

Ooooooo, that Southard Hanan.

Some interesting surprises, the 100 Pacer especially. The aesthetics look like a bit of an acquired taste, but darn if a wide, flat ground, trailing point isn't a wonderful thing.

Well, it's a Chaparral, the FRN is black, and the photo isn't all that detailed, so there's bound to be some resemblance. However, it has 4 screws visible while the CF version only has 2, so they're fairly easy to tell apart.

It's an A. T. Barr One Eyed Jack collaboration. I have a one of his customs, left handed, with ivory scales, long bolsters, and a Damascus blade. Mine has a 3" blade, but he made a couple sizes, so not sure how big the collab will be.

In the past year or so, I've leaned away from titanium flippers, never really liked recurves, but I've always liked Brad's design aesthetic.

The Hanan (technically mini-Hanan) is doing it for me though. Compression lock, stubby flipper tab, sleek carry width, sculpted G-10 scales evoking wood grain, unostentatious clip, reasonable size... Judging by the stonewash it's taking, and squinting really hard at the videos, I'm guessing CTS-XHP is the steel on this production prototype. It's the pocket kukri I thought I'd never see.

Yeah... the Sliver is gonna be an insta-buy. And Taichung construction, too. Glad to see Paul's getting more love.

I tried to get a look at the stamp, and it looks like S30V (it's a little blurry)--which is a shame, because I like everything else about the knife. If it does turn out to be XHP, I'm in.

Serrated wharnie Delica!? *throws wads of £5 notes at my computer screen* TAKE MY MONEY!.....WHY AREN'T YOU TAKING MY MONEY!?

Salt hawkbill in a Delica 4 handle?....*sobs with exhaustion* WHY IS NO-ONE TAKING MY MONEY!?

Euroedge looks rather spiffing also....*ahem* :D
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Lots of cool new blades. Thanks to those linking the vids. I'm very excited about the small sub hilt. I think it needs a better looking clip though.

Evil D wrote:Man I am absolutely in love with the Sliver. It's as if Paul Alexander pulled thoughts right out of my head to make that knife, it checks pretty much every box on my list. All I need now is the right steel to go with it and that may be the one knife to rule them all for me.
Yep, what Evil D said!!!

S30v is what Eric mentioned in the BladeHQ video just above. Oh well.

Seems to be the original custom version of the Taiwan 100 Paces knife.
