When you say "first production run", are you referring to the non skeletonized solid liner version?

Thank you kindly. My tiny collection is no doubt dwarfed by what you've assembled - your pics are always great!

I'm overspending a bit, but I'm at a point where that is rather secondary in my life. I'm happy to have rediscovered the beauty of the blade.

Advocate. That's right, despite the big fuss about washers, I ordered an Advocate. I held one at a gun show and loved it instantly. Should have it this week.

My son has one and it was that knife that got me started buying Spyderco knives.

It came in the mail today.Very impressed with it right out of the box. Love the blue scales on it...smooth action to it opening...the ball bearing lock is a little on the stiff side but I'm sure it will loosen up with time. I already was a fan of the BD1 (have a Chicago in BD1) and it came very sharp out of the box. Build-wise I would say it is somewhere between my tenacious and my Yojimbo 2. A very nice knife that I'm sure will see plenty of time as my EDC!
