List of Para 2 Variants

#1

Post by CubistHamster »

Sorry if this has been asked before-I've searched and not found it but that may not mean much...

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has a complete list of Para 2 Variants (including ones known to be forthcoming.)

I didn't really mean to get caught up in this, but I've accidentally acquired the S90V and M390 sprints, and now I've been bitten by the same bug that led me to own 19 Manixes.

Thanks in advance.

Ted was faster - posted while I was typing! :D :D :D

One wrinkle on the P1 variants is that there were SpyderEdge variants of some of those, but so far there has been no SpyderEdge Para2. :(

I see it is, but as far as I know, it shouldn't - I'll notify the team

The mirror of the models subsite is still working, which is hosted somewhere else, so DNS is still registered. Probably something at the hosting provider

Uhh, yeah. Given recent prices for the S90V, that's quite an accident  :D If the OP is happy with the price, it might still be my fave, though.

Yeah, they've gotten pretty expensive. I got mine while trying to sell a Strider DB-L at a brick-and-mortar store. They had a CF/S90V Para 2, and were willing to give me a much better deal on a trade than a sale, so I went home with the Para.

There are sixteen variants if you count every model that has a separate "C" stock number. This includes the serrated models of the P1. Here is what I have:

Paramilitary 1
C-81GP Black CPM-S30V P Original P1
C-81GS Black CPM-S30V S Serrated
C-81GBK Black CPM-S30V P DLC-coated black blade
C-81GSBK Black CPM-S30V S Serrated, DLC-coated black blade
C-81GPCMOBK Camo CPM-S30V P DLC-coated black blade
C-81GPFG Green CPM-D2 P The first Para sprint

Paramilitary 2
C-081GP2 Black CPM-S30V P Original P2
C-081GBK2 Black CPM-S30V P Original P2, black DLC-coated blade
C-81GCMO2 Camo CPM-S30V P Camo
C-81GMOBK2 Camo CPM-S30V P Camo, DLC-coated black blade
C-81CF2 Black CPM-S90V P CF scales, sprint
C-081GGY20CP2 Grey CTS-20CP P Sprint
C-081GPBL2 Blue M390 P Bento Box exclusive
C-81GPBN2 Brown CPM-S35VN P Moteng exclusive
C-081GPOR2 Orange CTS-XHP P Cutlery Shoppe exclusive
C-81GPGR2 Dark green CPM-204P P Knife Works exclusive (TBD)

And I can't resist posting a couple of these pics again... :) I've added a few to my collection since these pics. When it gets warmer outside, I'll work on getting another family photo.

Cheers!

Dayum!!! 2 Grey 20CPs, huh? Let me know if you ever wanna sell one of those! :) Para2 was not on my radar when those came out... otherwise I would have bought one new for sure.
