Well, I was out of town for the holiday and arrived home to find the Ouroboros sitting in my mailbox. It was evening time, the furnace had been set at 50 for a few days, the wood stove needed to be fired up and the baby needed to be fed. There wasn't much time for playing with knives. I took it out, gave it good once over and slipped in my pocket. Saturday and Sunday were reserved for deer hunting (which was cold, wet and uneventful) so I threw the knife in my pocket and brought it out into the woods with me. I killed a bit of time in the woods carving on some sticks with it but overall I didn't use it much over the weekend sitting in a stand. It has so far done some minor food prep (cheese and crackers) and opened a few boxes. I will start actually playing with it a bit more during the week here and will report back with some feedback after. I will make sure to put it in the official Ouroboros review thread but thought that for now I would I would just throw up some glamour pics of it laying on some frozen moss and one of it warming up with me by the wood stove. :D

This is an awesome idea! I was really excited when this knife was announced, and I was hoping it would have been in my price range. I would like to participate in this pass around, if the list still has openings.

I hope I'm not too late, but would love to get in on this. I work on a farm, and currently carry a PM2 which works great for me.

Edit to add, Saw your reply in the other thread, go ahead and add me to the list. Feel free to PM me for my details.

It's going, but there's been a delay or two so far... but no real issues.
And, it should be off to another forumite pretty soon.

You can loosely track its progress on page 1 of this thread, I cross out folks as they send the knife along.
You're up soon Vash.

I have attempted for the 2nd time to send my contact info, Vash and Paulwa, let me know if you get it, I suspect an issue with my PM function here.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I'd love to get in on this list. My budget (and my wife) limit the number of knives that I buy, but I don't know anywhere to get my hands on them before pulling the trigger. I really like the looks of the Ouroboros, and a test drive would be nice.

Just wanted to give my fellow passaround-ers an update: I received the knife safely on Saturday, and I'll be updating the thread over the coming week with some pictures and more in-depth thoughts.

First impressions, right out of the box: "how does this wide-looking blade fold up so slim?"
