The Spydie-Sheep (mini-Sage mod)
The Spydie-Sheep (mini-Sage mod)
Had this Sage1 for a couple years, and like it, but find it getting very little pocket time.
Modded the scales about a year ago - sanded thru the CF veneer to expose the G10, and contoured em.
Yesterday, decided to give her the ole choppy-chop. Went for a sheepsfoot-esque blade shape, and lengthwise wanted the bare miniumum handle length to still get a four finger grip. I was surprised by the lines - I really like the look of this chop. The tip is dropped significantly, which makes it way more useful for me as an edc.

I like it!! Great job!
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!
Re: The Spydie-Sheep (mini-Sage mod)
Very nice! I have a spare Sage1 that might end up on the operating table :)

I'm not a modder, but if I were, I'd take my Sage1 and go to school on yours.

Badass. Like it a lot. Wish I had more balls to mod stuff. Are you carrying it more now?
Re: The Spydie-Sheep (mini-Sage mod)
That looks pretty nice.

Thanks man. So far it's forcing everything else out (at least of the coin pocket). Carrying as a backup in the 5th pocket, and I'm really loving it. Contemplating getting a Sage5 to try this on...twinboysdad wrote:Are you carrying it more now?
Thank you. I highly recommend it! I doubt I'm stopping w/ this one...abbazaba wrote:Very nice! I have a spare Sage1 that might end up on the operating table :)

Well done, sir. You are getting to be very proficient at modding. :)

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Much appreciated.

I like it. Looks quite practical and comfortable with the contouring of the handle.
