I saw that!

Also noticed that it's now listed on BHQ but no pre-order or price. They're also calling it the "Paramilitary 3 Minuteman"

They sold out pretty quick, I'll get one eventually I'm sure but for some reason I'm just not getting that pumped for this one, I know that will change once some of the gang start getting them and posting up pictures, it always happens like that for me on pieces I'm not sure of. :o

Thanks! I went ahead and got on the list. Not too worried about it. I'll get one eventually either way.

I'll say they did. I was actually on the fence whether or not I wanted this first version. The S30V steel is fine but I have enough knives with black scales. I figure I'll test drive this one and, if I like the size, I'll wait for the sprint run of my dreams...whatever that is. :) :spyder:

The comparison pic with the Sage 5 kinda killed it for me. Will probably get one for "evaluation" but i have a sneaking suspicion it will be catch and release.
No question it will get a cult following just like big old bro. :)

I'm planning on buying one as soon as it's available. I'm not worried about it replacing my Sage 5 as a favorite. My favorite is whatever I'm feeling on my way out the door any given day. I have medium-large hands, but I'm not fretting about grips and length. The choil is there and I don't mind using it. :spyder:

Now the wait for 'in the wild' pictures commences......

....Then the wait for the first sprints.....and (if the PM2 is anything to go by) the gaggle of custom scale makers chomping at the bit :D
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Agree that the photo with the sage 5 says a lot. P3 should be a great platform for blade steels and colorful handles, unlike the sage.
Bring em on!

Im refreshing daily so I can preorder and hopefully be able to make scales as soon as it arrives :) right now caly 3 is my favorite. Hoping the PM3 holds the same role but with a more fun lock and non-pinned design.

KnifeCenter has these up for pre-order also, just a heads up. I've actually had pretty good luck on the last couple pre-orders with them, as long as you get it in early.

Thank you, farnorthdan! I just placed my pre-order.

I have a few PM2s in my lineup that never get used because of my Delicas. Hopefully this will be the next step for me. :D

Thanks! I actually have two pre-orders going now. I'll probably let them both play out and keep the one I like best. I have my Lil' Para-Delica in pocket today in preparation for the new Para 3.

Thanks! I've been checking their site all day to see if they had a preorder up yet but for some reason it didn't show up with the way I was searching. I just pre-ordered and used my $50 reward credit. (from spending too much on knives this year!)
