What if Maxamet got light gray diamond? It would be funny and ironic to me.

That's a very practical colour for a user blade, and Cruwear should never sit unused and unloved in a cold dark safe...

I keep wondering what a yellow or green cf would look like...

They are now listed in the Spyderco catalog. That looks like a real photo too.

So, does that mean it's gonna be a regular production knife? If so, then I feel no urgency to get right now and can redirect those funds to something more pressing.

I would be powerless to resist, no matter how poor I am right now. I've been wishing for this for quite a while!

Though that dark grey is awful handsome. It's very tempting!

Nope, it's a sprint...

The title in the catalog below the photo says "C81GPGY2 Para Military™ 2 CPM® CRU-WEAR® Sprint Run".

So I'll be the one to admit I bought one from the SFO online at MSRP. I have a busy next couple of weeks for work and won't have time to keep an eye out for one in-stock at the dealers. At least for the price I'm guaranteed one now. Cant wait to use the crap out of it as I use my knives daily for breaking down cardboard at work all day long.

Pics to follow when I get it in...

I care to look! Thanks for sharing that. It's looking more and more like the g10 color I've always wanted. Lighter than black, brighter than the original grey. Just right.

Goldilocks Grey! :D

5% premium to be first.

I'll keep my preorder with KC and see if it happens for me. A little torn on this one.

With a popular and relatively affordable sprint in a great steel like this you have two choices: buy it now at MAP, or buy it later and pay much more! :p
