Show your Gayle Bradley's

#1

Post by toomzz »

Hi, let's honor Gayle Bradley, Spyderco and the Taichung plant and show your Bradley´s. Not the untouched showcase-specimen, but the used, dirty, modded, and patina-ed ones...
I will kick this one off. I only own the 3 folders, but the fixed-bladed ones are also welcome :p

Love the knives but they're a little heavier than what I like to carry in the summer (cargo shorts, etc) so, sadly, they're not getting the use they deserve. Cooler weather is just around the corner so hopefully I'll put some more miles on them once the blue jeans come back out.

Steve Ketchen does great scales:

The G10 Steve makes really is grippy and gives it a different knife feeling!

Her big sisters, the GB1 and the GB2 are at home napping. When they come out and play I will shoot a couple pics of them as well.

Very seriously thinking about ordering a gb2 tomorrow, and these pics have just about done me in. How are you guys getting that awesome patina on your blades? I knows there's ways of forcing it, but for a natural patina do you just not wipe the blade off and not oil it? I live in southern Indiana so rust isn't really a huge problem for me, but I'm really liking that patina look!
Thanks to all members, old and new.
