Which ? For the big day?

Folks, Mrs Samo said : "Hey, no Big knives on the Chinese wedding reception okay?" And Samo thought to himself : "Nooooo Wayy.." Okay, the SS Endura or anything more handsome that this is out.. Man, I feel "vulnerable" without a .. My hands get clammy, I feel out of place and anxious.. But Samo has a plan.. And that is : To carry a Gent's .. So, here are some suggestions...

Samo thinks the Kiwi is it. But on the other hand, the SS Cricket might do the job.. So, Samo has deviced a plan.. Morning tea ceremony.. (Well, this is a must for Chinese folks getting married the Chinese way) Seiko Orange Monsta, SS Cricket.. Wedding reception dinner (Seiko Black Monster and Kiwi) Oh yeah, where can I find one of them funky leather holster for them Jigged bone and SS Kiwis which were included in the later release? They are really stylish.. Samo plans to pack em in his two-piece suite.. *heh-heh!*

Ahhh Samo,

I'd go strictly Kiwi, as it is kinda symbolic of your "day". The Kiwi has merged steel and bone, one material of the earth, the other which lived on the earth. The union of the two materials display a most beautiful harmony. Seperately, they are nothing. Together, they are something unique and have merged as one with graceful lines and flow. Steel and Bone together have "created" the Kiwi into an absolutely beautiful knife. Like You and Mrs. Samo, only together can you "create" a beautiful life.

All the best to you and yours and God bless!

God will put you over...if you let Him! John 14: 13,14...try it, it WORKS!

Another vote for the Kiwi - I was thinking there's just something special about it, and then I read Daywalker's post and he nailed it!!

BTW, Samo - you got good taste in watches, my man!!

Eish, now why must I put a spanner in the worx, I like the ying yang like look of the SS Cricket.
The Kiwi looks really nice though, a real smart, gentlemans knife if you ask me.

My cricket fulliy enough still votes for his own species.

Enjoy it Samo

Yes the Kiwi is an excellent choice.

However, IMO there is another model maybe even better: Jess Horn with the jigged bone scales (I believe you have one of those Samo?)

Good luck anyway!! And don't loose that ring

Sam

So a fully serrated Civilian is out of the question......?

The Kiwi is a classier looking choice. But they're both small so you could carry both without ruining the cut of your suit.

A Lum Chinese might be a good alternative choice also

Enjoy the day!!!

I started my Wedding with a cricket 06-14-91 and for my anniversary gift this year I just recieved the pearl inlay kiwi with the silver in the handle. I think either would be a great choice!

Have a great wedding...and I'll let the cat out of the bag and tell you... the pics take three times as long as the actual wedding so be ready for the flashing lights...and no I'm not talking about a police car either!

Congratulations Samo, may you and Mrs Samo share a long and happy life together.

The Kiwi is a great choice, and, if you can't get your hands on one of the Kiwi holsters with the flap and little "belt" to tuck it under, I have a couple pouch type ones that Joyce sent me a while back. They look like the one for the one for the 1 15/16 Pocket Stone only round on the bottom and a bit narrower. They do fit the Kiwi real nice. If you'd like one, just email me your mailing addy and I'll pop one in the mail. Just one word of warning "All items come from a pet infested and smoke saturated home".

Kiwi with red paracord through the lanyard hole!

It will match the jigged bone and no one can complain with the blade so luckily 'pacified'.

All the Best Samo!

Hi Samo,

6 years ago, I wore a Jot Sing Khalsa Spyder edge in my wedding suit. At the time, it was my last knife, a very special one as it was the first my wife offered me. We were living in a small town at the time, and it was really hard for her to get this knife from the local gunshop.
I have to admit it seemed pretty strange for the people who saw it. I did not imagine being knifeless, as I have one in my pocket since I am 14 years old. This very special piece of my collection was the only one I could wore. It is still a major part of my collection.

Take the knife you prefer, anyway it won't be the most important part of the day. All my thoughts for you and your wife.
