Some nice custom scales in this thread. Its making me think that my dream Para 1.5 knife is probably pretty easily made. I'm looking for G10 scales for a Para 2 that are drilled out for the original Para 1 clip and do not have all the L/R/U/D holes drilled out. I'd be interested in 5 sets of scales. 2 CF, 2 Black G10, and 1 other color G10. Any recommendations of who can do this kind of work. I want it to look stock, as if it was done in Golden, CO.

I have the purple ones! They were expensive, but I offset the cost by selling the original scales on Ebay (which were digicam.)

Has anyone ever cut the scales down shorter, losing the lanyard hole?

No experience or affiliation with them, but the copper scales for the PM2 at Ripp's Garage Tech look great.

You might also want to check this site out...I havent got any from here yet, but I've read good reviews on multiple sites. I'll be ordering some Endura scales later this month if you want me to give you some more feedback. I'm going with the OD Micarta. I think they are all 90$, but I'm not sure how much shipping is or if it's included.

G10it is a great guy to order from, I've ordered twice. Reasonable price, faster than most custom scale guys, rediculously customizable! Just about anything you want, I sent him the image I had my tattoo done from and he put it in the scale! (Posted in show your mods)

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. I'll check it out. I had no idea that he would customize like that.

eta: I emailed Kevin at Smock Knives and he forward this video.

My next question is if he can do the same to stock G10 scales and using the entire stock blade.

Anyone else notice this is a 2 year old thread bump? Guessing the OP already has his answer.

But also, "bladeswelove" is modifying Paramilitary 2's into a shorter version (both blade and handle length) now and selling them that way.
Going back to Caly.
